Hi, I’m Cheri, the owner and business director of Blue Baobab NZ.
At Blue Baobab NZ, we

Gumboots, based in South Africa, and designed by the talented entrepreneurs
Cally and Liz. These boots are not only stylish and comfortable but also
essential additions to your wardrobe, regardless of the season! Proudly
sustainable, our gumboots are environmentally friendly and represent fashion
that any woman can embrace.
The manufacturer employs a cradle-to-grave recycling system,
creating gumboots from 100% recycled materials. They source old PVC from the
electrical, agricultural, and medical industries, which is then ground into
granules and melted down to form the boots.
As a family-owned business located in the beautiful Papamoa,
Blue Baobab is proud to be the sole distributor of Silver Lining Gumboots in
New Zealand.

First gumboots I wore out before they leaked
Worn daily through a very tough winter and then some.
Nice slim fit, they dont do that slap that other gummies do with every step which is nice! Easy to get on and off.
As a horse rider needing to be out at the farm every day no matter the weather, and out dog walking - I've been through all brands of gumboots and nothing has lasted like these.
These are the first that I wore the grip down before they got a teeny teeny leak. Very impressed. Treaded through calf high water and mud almost daily for a year. The base is not that comfortable, but you could easily put in your own sole or sheepskin liner.

I love this jacket as it has a longer back. Also it is light and easy to carry. I wore it quite a lot in summer with just a t-shirt. I did notice the sleeves were quite narrow but it still fitted.
However now it is a little cooler and I wear a t shirt and merino I find this too much clothing for the very narrow sleeves.

We live in a rural area outside central Auckland and so I wear gumboots most days at some point. These boots are a great height, they are comfortable and the look great. I was so impressed with the speed they were delivered too. Highly recommend. I also love that they are made partly with recycled materials.
